Chief Financial Officer

We are a full-service DSD distributor representing market-dominant brands throughout all of the Hawaiian islands. Some of our partners include Haagen-Dazs, California Pizza Kitchen, Tropicana, and many more.

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. As a key member of the executive management team, the CFO will report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Board and assume a strategic role in the overall financial management of the company. The CFO will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company and play a key role in driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance and accounting team.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Establish and develop relationships with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
• Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.
• Lead and coordinate efforts for process improvement in all areas of responsibility.
• Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation.
• Manage capital assets
• Assist the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans.
• Provide tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Direct-to-store (DSD) or food service
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field (preferred).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
• Experience in a senior financial managerial position.
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial reporting software.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of financial management and performance management principles.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
