The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the preconstruction phase of our projects, providing detailed and accurate cost estimates that drive the success of our operations

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Chief Estimator, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Leading the development of comprehensive, detailed project cost estimates for multifamily housing and historical renovation projects.
2. Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather detailed information necessary for accurate estimate preparation.
3. Reviewing design documents to identify potential cost implications and provide cost-saving alternatives.
4. Maintaining a database of historical cost data for use in preparing future estimates.
5. Presenting estimates to senior management and clients, explaining the basis for the cost calculations and addressing any questions or concerns.
6. Participating in contract negotiations to ensure that project costs are accurately represented.
7. Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in estimating techniques and software.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 12 years of experience in estimating, specifically in multifamily housing, historical renovations and Churches
2. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
3. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
