CFO

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our construction firm. Our ideal candidate is an accomplished leader with a proven track record in strategic financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and financial analysis. The CFO will play a key role in our company's financial future by providing leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the financial plans and strategies of the company.
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting to the Company.
• Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
• Supervise financial reporting and budgeting team.
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
• Stay up-to-date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Accounting Manager, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
• CPA is a strong advantage.
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
