POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst conducts analysis, defines business processes; prepares and conducts training, and troubleshoots various business system environments. This role owns the customer service relationship with the assigned business areas. The BSA serves as a liaison between the business and the application vendors, translating business requirements into applications requirements and designs and managing the vendor delivery. The position is responsible to advise the evaluation, and implementation, of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as well as other critical applications. Customizes and configures workflows to enable the integration of optimized processes and application utilization. Must have a creative approach to problem solving and excellent influencing abilities. Must research in-depth IT solutions. Superb interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are also key.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Acts as liaison between internal business units and IT
Acts as a liaison between IT and application vendors
Research, design, develop, and implement that enhance the company’s manufacturing and support environments
Configures, installs, loads data and tests ERP, as well as other software packages
Technical writing, including analysis and document preparation
Works with clients to define user requirements, specifications, and expectations
Maintains detailed understanding of business processes to deliver user’s business requirements and provide day to day support
Provides business analysis on Document Management for all departments
Participates in Project Management as needed
Participates in cross functional teams to analyze business opportunities and contribute to systematic and process-oriented solutions
Work with vendors/developers to track and resolve applications bugs, patch releases, and upgrades
Provide Tier II support to users utilizing the business systems, such as the ERP
Participate in afterhours support, as necessary
Builds reports for Management, Power BI experience a plus
Performs tasks typically expected of an Applications Analyst role supporting an ERP environment to include but not limited to:
Lead business requirement and design sessions
Based on information gathered, create requirement documents and functional design specifications
Provide project input related to project, communication, testing, training, and cutover plans
Track and report on testing defects, project issues, action items, etc.
Develop test scripts and complete system testing
Prepare for and guide testing cycles including User Acceptance Testing
Provide production support and develop support documentation

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an applications development or business analyst role
Ability to work in US without Company sponsorship.
EXPERIENCE
Experience with chemical, or batch, manufacturing a plus
Experience with Microsoft D365 a plus
Experience with Power BI a plus
Experience with O365 suite a plus
Experience with Azure DevOps a plus
Experience with DocuWare a plus

Excellent communication skills -written and verbal.
Excellent customer service skills along with the ability to understand the business processes and needs of the customer
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Ability to create new process workflows, procedures, and/or training documentation
Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with non-technical
