We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. This role will play a critical part in our decision-making process by crafting and managing BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and deploy business intelligence systems and large scale data warehouses.
2. Create tools to store data, such as OLAP cubes and clusters.
3. Conduct troubleshooting on BI models.
4. Generate and deliver quality reports to customers and perform regular tests to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
5. Develop and manage BI solutions, analytics, and reports.
6. Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and design and develop dashboards.
7. Translate business needs into technical specifications.
8. Develop and update technical documentation for BI systems, data models, and train new users on BI tools and systems.
9. Use SSRS, SQL, MS Access, SSIS, Power BI, Tableau, ETL, OLAP, WebFocus, TSQL to perform tasks.
10. Maintain and support data analytics platforms and create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, preferably in the Manufacturing industry or similar environment.
3. Proven experience with BI technologies and a strong background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
4. In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
5. Proficiency in SQL queries, SSRS, SSIS, and experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
6. Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
7. Experience with BI technologies (Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).
8. Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
9. Familiarity with Informatica, WebFocus, and TSQL.
10. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
11. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in managing complex business data.
12. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex data in a simple, understandable way.
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
