We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving our business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic business relationships, and closing deals. This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for renewable energy, a keen eye for financial analysis, and a knack for sales management. If you are a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of the Japanese market, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to achieve company objectives and sales targets.
2. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, particularly utility scale projects.
3. Lead the negotiation and closing of deals with prospective clients.
4. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the profitability and feasibility of potential projects.
5. Manage relationships with prospects, clients, and partners to build the company's market presence.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
8. Leverage your understanding of the Japanese market to expand our company's footprint.
9. Work closely with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) to secure energy contracts.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
2. Proven track record in sales management and business development.
3. Strong understanding of the Japanese market and business culture.
4. Proficiency in Japanese language is a must.
5. Solid experience in financial analysis and budgeting.
6. In-depth knowledge of utility scale renewable energy projects.
7. Experience in dealing with Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
8. Exceptional negotiation and deal-closing skills.
9. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
11. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be a plus.
