Job Details

SUMMARY:
As our seasoned Business Development Manager with a strong background in the semiconductor packaging assembly industry, particularly in selling a range of equipment including Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Machines, AOI; Automated Optical Inspection Machines, Pick and Place Machines, Screen Printers, etc. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience working with reputable companies such as Sony, Apple, Tesla, HP, Onsemi (previously Motorola), or within major semiconductor manufacturers like Infineon, TSMC, Skyworks, Plexus, etc.

MUST HAVES:
  • Relationships with Key Customers such as HP, Apple, Sony, Nvidia, Etc…(Fortune 500 Tech Companies)
  • Semiconductor sales experience with SMT Machines or similar equipment.

TRAVEL:
  • 30-50% Mostly Domestic, some International.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, focusing on SMT Machines, Automated Optical Inspection Machines, Pick and Place Machines, and Screen Printers.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to drive strategic business development initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including industry giants such as Sony, Apple, HP, Infineon, TSMC, and Skyworks.
  • Understand clients' unique needs and propose tailored solutions to enhance their manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand business within existing accounts.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, demonstrating a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Showcase in-depth technical knowledge of semiconductor equipment, articulating the features and benefits of SMT Machines, Automated Optical Inspection Machines, Pick and Place Machines, and Screen Printers.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address client specifications and requirements.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key players in the semiconductor ecosystem, fostering collaboration for mutual business growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align product development with market demands

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ Years of Professional experience in semiconductor sales.
  • Proven track record in business development within the semiconductor industry, specifically selling semiconductor equipment.
  • Experience working with prominent clients such as Sony, Apple, HP, and major semiconductor manufacturers like Infineon, TSMC, and Skyworks.
  • Strong network within the semiconductor industry and established connections with key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
