Are you a seasoned business attorney with a passion for corporate law and litigation? Are you ready to take on a new challenge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Our company is seeking a permanent Business Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the organization on a wide range of business and corporate legal matters. Your expertise in litigation, corporate law, and bankruptcy will be crucial in ensuring that the company operates within the law at all times.

Responsibilities:

As our Business Attorney, you will:

1. Provide expert legal support and advice to the organization on various corporate and business matters.
2. Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents and contracts to ensure the company's full legal rights.
3. Deal with complex matters involving multiple stakeholders and forces.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis, and prepare reports on various legal matters.
5. Represent the company in legal proceedings (administrative boards, court trials, etc.)
6. Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
7. Develop company policy and position on legal issues.
8. Advise on legal aspects of the company’s financing, including assessing and advising on current and future business structures and legal entities.
9. Handle litigation and bankruptcy cases, and manage relationships with external counsels.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. A current license to practice law.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a business attorney, with a strong focus on corporate law, litigation, and bankruptcy.
4. Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
6. Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
7. In-depth understanding of how legal issues affect organizations.
8. Ability to develop legal strategy and objectives.
9. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
10. Excellent judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.
11. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
