Job Details

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Building Automation Service Technician to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan! Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough point-to-point checks to ensure the proper installation of control systems, as well as completing system commissioning and device verification assignments.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and rectify common malfunctions in electronic control systems.
  • Generate field change sketches and reports to highlight discrepancies for engineering revisions and drawings.
  • Establish clear communication with customers upon arrival and before departure from the work site.
  • Keep customers well-informed regarding the service provided, outstanding issues, and recommendations for system improvements, upgrades, or repairs.
  • Actively promote additional work or enhancements to customers.
  • Efficiently manage assigned tasks to ensure professional execution, adherence to deadlines, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training to customers on the operation of electronic control systems, including the delivery of manuals and relevant documentation.
  • Offer support to the mechanical staff concerning equipment and system-related matters.
  • Create or update documentation for customers' Building Automation Systems (BAS) as needed.

MUST HAVE:
  • 2 ‐ 4 year technical degree and/or industry related technical field experience including HVAC Systems, DDC Systems, software and device calibration.
  • Knowledgeable in DDC applications pertaining to the HVAC industry.
  • Valid, clean driver's license.

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Experience with Alerton, Trend, Tridium, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Trane, Carrier, Siemens
  • Programming Experience
