BIM Technician

Founded in 1981 as a non-union electrical contracting firm to penetrate and capitalize on the need for quality electrical contracting services in the commercial construction industry of Los Angeles. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BIM Technician to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in BIM coordination, Revit, AutoCAD, Electrical Design, Lighting Systems, Lighting Design, and Fire Alarm Systems. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining BIM models, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BIM models for various projects
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Provide technical support to project teams
• Review and analyze project requirements and specifications
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Create and maintain project documentation
• Perform clash detection and resolution
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of BIM models
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in BIM coordination utilizing Revit and AutoCad
• Strong knowledge of BIM software and tools
• Experience with electrical design - Lighting and Fire Alarm is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
