BAS / HVAC Controls Technician

A South West Florida building automation and controls, energy services, CCTV and lighting controls organization. Job Details: Currently seeking an experienced HVAC Controls/ Building Automation Technician to join a Smart Building Technology firm in Southwest Florida. This role is responsible for taking a drawing package and running thru the systems in the field to confirm sequence of operation and point to point confirmation of the HVAC automation project.

MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
• Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Alerton (preferred), Schneider Electric, Siemens, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other

NICE TO HAVE:

• Tridium Niagara
• Alerton experience
• AutoCAD, Visual Basic, Visio
• Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
