A bit about us:

Seeking an Audio/Visual Support Specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of audio/visual equipment including design, setup, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and end-user support. The Specialist will oversee the daily schedule of all audio/visual setups and staff projects with the appropriate IT Support Analysts. This position will also support the investigation and diagnosis of incidents related to audio/visual issues as escalated by Service Desk team and/or personnel.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
Manage audio/visual equipment and associated functions, including preventative maintenance tasks such as:
Updating software/firmware on videoconferencing units
Collaborating with third-party support for hardware upgrades
Integrating new equipment into existing conference rooms
Coordinate setup for all internal meetings/videoconferences, including configuring laptops for presentations and conferences.
Troubleshoot malfunctions in computer and videoconference equipment as needed.
Set up, video record, and edit events as directed by management.
Work collaboratively with other IT team members, particularly Service Desk staff, to resolve tickets and issues efficiently.
Collaborate with various departments, including Facilities, Marketing, and Professional Development, to arrange setups for conferences and meetings.
Provide technical support to end-users via telephone, email, remote access, or in-person interactions.
Install application software following corporate standards and user requirements.
Document activities in the firm's ticketing system.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in-person and through verbal/written channels.
Exceptional customer service skills to deliver high-quality support to internal and external clients.
Proficiency in working with various videoconferencing equipment, computer desktops, notebooks, printers, monitors, and networking peripherals.
Ability to diagnose and repair videoconferencing and computer hardware, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively multitasking and prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Windows 11.
Proficient in video editing and audiovisual coordination.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Quick adaptability to new technologies.
