Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Automation Specialist/Technician to join our Manufacturing team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The successful candidate will play a significant role in enhancing our manufacturing processes through automation. The position requires a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities:
The Automation Specialist/Technician will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain automated systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
3. Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
4. Analyze system performance data to determine areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
5. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to design and implement new automation systems.
6. Provide technical support and training to the production team on new and existing automation systems.
7. Ensure all automation systems are in compliance with industry safety standards.
8. Stay current with advances in automation technology and recommend new equipment or modifications as appropriate.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in automation, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
2. Proven experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
4. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field is preferred.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Willingness to continue learning and improving skills in automation technology.
