We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automation Controls Engineer to join our highly skilled team. This is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and projects. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of automation system projects, from initial concept through to final commissioning and post-project support. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about automation and control systems, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
As an Automation Controls Engineer, you will:

1. Design, implement, and maintain automation and control systems in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
2. Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to control and automate industrial machinery and processes.
3. Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production staff, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation of automation systems.
5. Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring a thorough understanding of the system functionality and operation.
6. Conduct regular system audits and preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity and reliability of automation systems.
7. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automation and control systems, and make recommendations for system upgrades or improvements.
8. Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation and control systems engineering, with a strong focus on PLC programming.
3. Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram.
4. Experience with a variety of PLC brands, such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
5. Strong understanding of industrial processes, machinery, and control systems.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
