Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Audit Supervisor to join our dynamic finance team in the public accounting industry. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
2. Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessment, testing procedures, and evaluation of internal controls.
3. Perform detailed analysis of financial data, identifying areas of improvement and suggesting recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
4. Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management, providing valuable insights and actionable recommendations.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and incorporate them into audit processes to continuously improve our financial operations.
7. Coach and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
8. Assist in the planning and execution of special projects, such as due diligence reviews, internal investigations, and process improvement initiatives.
9. Support external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring smooth coordination and timely provision of required documentation.

Qualifications:
1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or eligibility is required.
2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on financial audits.
3. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends or anomalies.
5. Proficient in using audit software and tools, with a strong understanding of data analysis techniques.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the highest level of precision in audit work.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines, while maintaining a high level of quality in work deliverables.
9. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members.
10. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
