Responsibilities:

• Audit Execution: Lead and execute audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, including planning, risk assessment, testing, and finalization of audit procedures.
• Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze financial statements and related disclosures to identify potential issues, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Team Management: Supervise and guide audit staff during engagements, providing clear instructions, reviewing workpapers, and ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the audit process.
• Client Interaction: Foster strong client relationships by effectively communicating audit findings, addressing client inquiries, and providing actionable recommendations for improving financial reporting and internal controls.
• Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry developments to ensure compliance and provide sound technical advice to clients.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential audit risks, develop appropriate mitigation strategies, and proactively address any issues that may arise during the course of the engagement.
• Training and Mentoring: Assist in the professional development of junior team members through coaching, training, and providing constructive feedback to support their growth and progression within the firm.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in firm-wide initiatives to enhance audit methodologies, tools, and processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our audit practice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA qualification is strongly preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and assurance services.
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
• Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office suite, with a strong aptitude for technology-driven audit tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior staff members.
