Job Details

Responsibilities
As a Permanent Audit Senior, your primary responsibility will be to lead and conduct audits of our company's employee benefit plans. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:

1. Conduct comprehensive audits of our company's employee benefit plans, including 401(k) plans, health insurance plans, and other benefits.
2. Prepare detailed work papers to document the audit process and findings.
3. Develop and implement audit strategies and procedures to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our audit process.
4. Collaborate with HR and finance departments to understand the intricacies of our employee benefit plans.
5. Identify areas of non-compliance or potential risk in our employee benefit plans and recommend corrective actions.
6. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends related to employee benefit plans.
7. Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is highly preferred.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, preferably with a focus on employee benefit plans.
4. Proficient in preparing audit work papers and other audit documentation.
5. Excellent understanding of employee benefit plans and related regulations.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Proficient in using auditing software and other relevant computer applications.
