Job Details

As an Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the audit engagements within our firm. Your responsibilities will include leading audit teams, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations, and fostering strong client relationships. You will work closely with partners and senior management to develop audit strategies, execute audit plans, and deliver high-quality audit services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, including assigning tasks, reviewing work papers, and providing guidance to the audit
team members.
  • Compliance: Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies and procedures.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and addressing their audit-related concerns and inquiries.
  • Audit Strategy: Collaborate with partners and senior management to develop audit strategies and objectives, considering client needs and risk factors.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential audit risk, developing appropriate audit procedures and controls to mitigate risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with auditing standards.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop audit staff, providing training, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and best practices implementation within the audit department.
  • Communication: Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and issues to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Professional Development: Stay abreast of developments in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends, maintaining professional certifications and pursuing
continuing education as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit services.
  • Proven track record of managing audit engagements and leading audit teams effectively.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing talent and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess risks, identify issues, and propose practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
