Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auditor to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your auditing skills with a fast-growing Las Vegas CPA firm. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of our clients' financial records and internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP and government regulations, and helping to improve our team's efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough and detailed financial audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and any other applicable laws and regulations.
2. Analyze and review internal controls.
3. Identify any financial discrepancies or issues and provide solutions to rectify them.
4. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations.
5. Stay updated on changes in regulations that may affect our clients' financial operations and ensure compliance.
6. Review client policies and procedures, recommending changes where necessary.
7. Perform compliance audits for nonprofit organizations.
8. Provide guidance and support to junior auditors and other staff members.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in external auditing.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
4. Proficiency in using auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. High level of integrity and dependability.
10. Experience in nonprofit compliance audits is a plus.
