Audit Manager

Responsibilities:

Audit Manager will play a critical role in our finance team with duties including but not limited to:

• Planning and managing audit assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Supervising audit staff to ensure that they adhere to company standards and regulations.
• Reviewing audit work papers and reports prepared by audit staff.
• Ensuring all audit reports are accurate, objective, clear, concise, constructive, and timely.
• Interacting with clients to identify potential risk areas and propose solutions for risk mitigation.
• Developing and maintaining productive client and team relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
• Providing technical guidance to audit staff and acting as a mentor to less experienced staff members.
• Participating in strategic planning initiatives and contributing to the development of the audit department.
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in regulatory standards and the impact these have on audits.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit management or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of audit and regulatory standards.
• Proven experience in public accounting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
