Job Details:

Our growing firm adding an Audit and Assurance Associate to our audit team. This role will be responsible for performing audit tests and procedures for a diverse portfolio of clients, many of which are not-for-profit organizations. The successful candidate will be a key player in executing our audit strategy, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and expertise.

Responsibilities:

As an Audit and Assurance Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating and testing business processes, transactions, internal controls, and risk management practices.
• Preparing and presenting detailed audit reports and findings to the senior audit staff.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments in auditing practices.
• Working closely with clients to understand their business operations and assist with identifying potential areas of risk.
• Collaborating with other departments to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of one busy season in public accounting, with a focus on auditing.
• Actively pursuing the CPA certification.
• Experience with auditing not-for-profit organizations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
