We are on the hunt for a highly skilled, dedicated, and passionate Permanent Attorney to join our legal team. This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney who is eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic legal environment. You will be responsible for handling complex legal cases, including civil litigation, medical malpractice defense, ALF litigation, nursing home litigation, criminal defense law, trucking accidents, and DUI defense. You will work closely with our clients to provide the best legal advice and representation. If you are a problem solver who enjoys a challenge, this could be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including taking depositions, attending court conferences, legal research, and drafting & negotiating settlements.
2. Handle a variety of civil cases, including medical malpractice defense, ALF litigation, and nursing home litigation.
3. Represent clients in criminal defense cases, trucking accidents, and DUI defense.
4. Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and legal options.
5. Develop and implement case strategies in line with the firm’s goals and the client’s best interests.
6. Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and court proceedings.
7. Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal news, and changes in the legal industry.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be an active member of the state bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, specifically with civil litigation, legal research, legal writing, medical malpractice defense, ALF litigation, nursing home litigation, criminal defense law, trucking accidents, and DUI defense.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
7. Proven track record of achieving favorable legal outcomes.
8. High ethical standards and professionalism.
9. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about case management.
