Are you a dynamic, experienced attorney with a passion for business law and a knack for civil litigation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a seasoned attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business law, civil litigation, legal research, legal writing, corporate law, construction law, and commercial litigation. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Attorney in our firm, your duties will include but not be limited to:

1. Representing our clients in civil litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial advocacy.
2. Providing comprehensive legal advice on business law matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
3. Conducting thorough legal research to support case preparation and legal advice.
4. Drafting clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents, briefs, and opinions.
5. Advising on corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and shareholder agreements.
6. Providing expert advice on construction law matters, including contract disputes, construction defects, and regulatory compliance.
7. Representing clients in commercial litigation, including breach of contract, business torts, and intellectual property disputes.
8. Collaborating with other attorneys in the firm to develop strategies for complex legal issues.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on business law, civil litigation, corporate law, construction law, and commercial litigation.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong oral advocacy skills and courtroom experience.
6. Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful dispute resolution.
7. A deep understanding of the legal, regulatory, and commercial aspects of the construction industry.
8. The ability to handle a high caseload and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
9. A client-focused approach, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
