Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Tax Partner with a strong background in ASC 740, tax provisions, international tax, federal audit, and other related areas. This role is a key position within our organization, responsible for managing and overseeing our tax operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing tax provisions, and providing strategic tax planning advice to the organization. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740, including the determination of valuation allowances, unrecognized tax benefits, and other related calculations.
2. Coordinate and manage tax audits by various domestic and international tax authorities.
3. Research and analyze complex tax issues; prepare memos and documentation of tax positions.
4. Provide strategic tax planning advice to the organization, including identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
6. Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation and guidance; provide recommendations on the impact to the organization.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 13 years of experience in a tax role, with a focus on ASC 740, tax provisions, international tax, and federal audit.
3. Strong knowledge of U.S. and international tax laws and regulations.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
5. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
7. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
