We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute your expertise in estate planning, complex litigation, and fiduciary law to our well-established law firm. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be expected to:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance on estate planning, including trust and estate disputes, probate avoidance, asset protection, charitable planning, business and succession planning, and administration of estates and trusts.
2. Handle complex litigation cases, ensuring that all legal proceedings are conducted in accordance with the law, and that the best interests of the client are always represented.
3. Advise clients on gift tax implications and strategies, and provide expert guidance on conservatorship matters.
4. Act as a fiduciary, ensuring that all legal and ethical responsibilities are met in the handling of clients' assets and affairs.
5. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts, ensuring that all legal agreements are in the best interests of the client and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents, and provide regular updates to the legal team and clients on any changes that may impact their cases.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Associate Attorney, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Missouri Bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning and complex litigation, with a demonstrated track record of success.
4. Expertise in trust and estate disputes, probate avoidance, asset protection, charitable planning, business and succession planning, and administration of estates and trusts.
5. Experience acting as a fiduciary and handling conservatorship matters.
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues and cases.
8. A high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal practice.
9. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
