Our law firm is seeking a dynamic and passionate Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to our legal practice by representing clients in a wide range of general liability, civil defense, and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal field, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal practice.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing a full caseload, including taking and defending depositions across different practice areas, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, negotiating settlements, and preparing for and attending court proceedings.

2. Representing clients in general liability, civil defense, and litigation matters.

3. Collaborating with partners, associates, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient approach to case management.

4. Providing exceptional client service by maintaining regular contact with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases, and addressing their questions and concerns in a timely manner.

5. Keeping up-to-date with changes in the law and legal practice, and participating in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Associate Attorney position, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admission to the state bar.

3. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on general liability, civil defense, and litigation.

4. Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.

6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

7. A commitment to ethical legal practice and maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.

8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
