Associate Attorney

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in litigation and labor law, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of legal research, discovery processes, hearings, trials, pleadings, court rules, and E-filing. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, and MS Word is a must. Prior clerkship experience and Tennessee Bar Admission will be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:
The Permanent Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, including labor law and litigation matters. The successful candidate will conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, manage discovery, and represent clients in hearings and trials. The candidate will also be responsible for interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations and providing legal advice to clients. They will prepare and draft legal documents, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and policies. The candidate will also be expected to stay updated with current legislation and legal developments and apply this knowledge to the benefit of our clients.

Qualifications:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney or Labor Attorney.
• Admission to the Tennessee Bar.
• Proven experience in legal research, discovery, hearings, trials, pleadings, and court rules.
• Proficiency in E-filing, Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, and MS Word.
• Prior clerkship experience is highly desirable.
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and communication skills.
• Experience in providing legal advice, assistance, and in drafting legal documents.
• A deep understanding of legal compliance.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
