Our esteemed law firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, working closely with our team of talented attorneys and legal professionals on a variety of cases. As an Associate Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, drafting complex dispositive motions, managing discovery, and court appearances.
2. Representing clients in a wide range of civil and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, real estate litigation, and bankruptcy litigation.
3. Conducting legal research and drafting detailed legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
4. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their businesses, and achieving their legal objectives.
5. Participating in business development efforts, including networking events, client presentations, and proposal development.
6. Collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals to develop legal strategies and achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney position should have the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the New Jersey State Bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum of two years of experience in civil litigation, commercial litigation, and/or bankruptcy litigation.
4. Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff at all levels.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, respond to changing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex legal issues in a creative and effective manner.
8. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
