Job Details:

Our prestigious law firm is seeking a Permanent Associate Attorney with a focus on Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice. This challenging yet rewarding position is ideal for a dedicated, passionate, and ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team, providing legal services to individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others. This includes cases involving automobile accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, defective drugs, and nursing home abuse.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney in our Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice team, you will be expected to:

1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
2. Conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and handle other details in preparation for trials.
3. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, affidavits, and contracts.
5. Collaborate with senior attorneys to form a robust case strategy.
6. Provide expert legal advice to clients, explaining the complexities of the law in a clear and concise manner.
7. Negotiate settlements in personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
8. Guide clients through class action litigation processes.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury and medical malpractice law.
3. A proven track record in handling cases involving automobile accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, defective drugs, and nursing home abuse.
4. Exceptional negotiation skills with a history of successful settlements.
5. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
6. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
9. Experience in class action litigation will be considered as a strong advantage.
