Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Personal Injury. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, professional, and ambitious attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a strong understanding of liability and legal research. This role requires an individual who is a member in good standing with the Florida State Bar and is capable of managing a heavy caseload while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle a wide variety of personal injury cases from intake to resolution, including conducting client interviews, gathering evidence, and preparing legal documents.
2. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation sessions, effectively advocating for their rights and interests.
4. Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies, striving to secure the best possible outcome for clients.
5. Collaborate closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure efficient case management.
6. Stay updated on developments in personal injury law, court decisions, and other legal matters that could impact the firm's clients.
7. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and conduct guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law.
3. Current membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
4. Proven ability to handle a large caseload and manage multiple deadlines.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Demonstrated experience in negotiation and courtroom representation.
7. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
