Associate Attorney - Litigation

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney - Litigation to join our robust legal team. The successful candidate will be involved in diverse areas of civil litigation, family law, commercial litigation, and probate. This role requires at least 2+ years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of civil litigation, family law, commercial litigation, and probate cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court.
• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc).
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing on complex matters.
• Attend court proceedings (status conferences, settlement conferences, hearings, trials, etc).
• Work with clients to establish case strategies, update them on case progress and legal complexities.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Perform pretrial discovery, and handle depositions and court appearances.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• 2+ years of litigation experience, specifically in civil litigation, family law, commercial litigation, and probate.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state and in good standing.
• Familiarity with various legal documents and terminology.
• Superior negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes and strong decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse clients.
• Proficient in legal research software and case management systems.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
