Are you a polished and professional attorney seeking an exciting opportunity to advance your career in labor and employment law? Our prestigious firm is currently seeking a mid-level associate to join our national Labor & Employment Department in our vibrant Chicago office.

Job Description:

Handle high-stakes employment litigation, including individual and class claims of discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, defamation, non-compete violations, and wrongful discharge.
Represent clients before federal and state courts, agencies, and departments such as the EEOC, NLRB, DOL, IDHR, IHRC, and OSHA.
Provide strategic advice and counseling to employers on a wide range of employment law matters.
Assist with traditional labor law matters, including collective bargaining negotiations, labor arbitrations, and unfair labor practice proceedings.
Conduct positive employee relations training and help employers foster a conducive workplace environment.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Three Years of Employment Law Experience: Demonstrated experience representing employers in employment litigation, providing strategic advice and counseling, and handling traditional labor matters.
Extensive Research and Briefing Skills: Proven ability to conduct thorough research and draft persuasive briefs on complex employment law issues.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong writing and oral advocacy skills are essential for success in this role.
Active Illinois License: Candidates must hold an active Illinois license in good standing.
