Associate Attorney - Labor & Employment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on labor and employment laws, regulations, and precedents.
• Stay abreast of recent developments in labor and employment law to provide timely and accurate advice.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on labor and employment matters, including but not limited to employment contracts, workplace policies, and compliance issues.
• Assist clients in resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including employment contracts, severance agreements, and employee handbooks.
• Prepare and file legal documents in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Represent clients in labor and employment-related litigation proceedings.
• Assist with the preparation of legal documents for court proceedings, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and responsiveness.
• Provide strategic legal advice to help clients achieve their business objectives while managing legal risks.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law compliance and best practices.
• Keep clients informed about changes in labor and employment laws that may impact their operations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar and in good standing.
• 1+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Litigation experience in labor and employment matters is a plus.
