Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. 1. Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities such as premise, product, and insurance defense.
2. Draft, review, negotiate and interpret a variety of contracts and agreements in accordance with laws and corporate policies and procedures.
3. Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal matters of the client or the organization.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, contracts, and real estate agreements.
5. Represent the organization in courts, before government agencies, and in private legal matters.
6. Collaborate with a team of attorneys on case preparation and strategy development.
7. Conduct pre-trial discovery, handle depositions, and attend court proceedings.
8. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
9. Review and advise on new regulations and laws that may impact the organization.
10. Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of changes in the legal landscape and maintain an in-depth understanding of products liability.

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice in the state of Florida and a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Associate Attorney, preferably with a focus on premise, product, and insurance defense.
4. Proven experience in products liability is highly desirable.
5. Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
7. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
8. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
