Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney | Insurance Defense, you will be expected to:

1. Manage a caseload involving insurance defense matters, from inception through resolution.
2. Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense claims including workers' compensation, general liability, and professional liability.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
4. Conduct legal research, analysis, and interpretation of laws, regulations, and court decisions.
5. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on insurance defense matters.

Job Details

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active Bar Admissions in both Maryland and Pennsylvania.
3. A minimum of two years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on workers' compensation defense.
4. In-depth knowledge of insurance law and workers' compensation defense.
5. Exceptional research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
