Job Details:

We are actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Permanent Associate Attorney to join our Environmental & Land Use Law practice. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, working directly with partners and clients on a variety of complex environmental and land use matters. This is an onsite position that offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging legal issues, develop your skills, and make a meaningful impact on environmental and land use law.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney in our Environmental & Land Use Law practice, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Providing legal advice and representation to clients on environmental and land use law matters, including regulatory compliance, permitting, zoning, and environmental impact assessments.
2. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and legal memoranda.
3. Conducting thorough and detailed legal research, analysis, and writing on a broad range of environmental and land use law issues.
4. Representing clients in administrative proceedings, litigation, and negotiations related to environmental and land use law.
5. Collaborating with partners and other team members to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
6. Staying abreast of current trends, laws, and regulations in environmental and land use law to ensure our clients receive the most accurate and up-to-date advice.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Florida state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferable in environmental law, land use & zoning, but we are willing to train.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of environmental and land use law, including regulatory compliance, permitting, zoning, and environmental impact assessments.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical judgment.
