Associate Attorney (Employment Litigation Group)

A women-owned law firm (WBE) headquartered in Irvine, CA is looking to hire several litigation associates across their California offices. Founded in 1989 they have extensive experience in all aspects of defense litigation and transactional matters. With offices in Irvine, Los Angeles and San Francisco they represent clients all over the state and even some international ones. Some of the practice areas are business, commercial, construction, employment, environmental, general liability, premises and product liability, insurance defense, and toxic tort. This role will be joining their Employment Litigation team who handles both single-plaintiff and class action cases.

This role will have the opportunity to work with some of the best lawyers and work in a very diverse team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in defense litigation
• Experience with employment litigation: discrimination, retaliation, FEHA, PAGA, class action and wage & hour
• Experience conducting discovery, taking dispositions, preparing motions and trail preparation
• Trail or arbitration experience is a plus!
• CA Bar License and must reside in CA
