Job Responsibilities:

• Meeting with prospective debtors to determine their eligibility for a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases
• Preparation and filing of bankruptcy petitions, schedules, financial statements and filings related to the commencement, continuation and conclusion of cases.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including attending 341 meetings of creditors and confirmation hearings.
• Advise clients on debt management strategies, budgeting, and post-bankruptcy financial planning.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on changes in bankruptcy law and Maryland bankruptcy procedures

.Job Qualifications:

• MD Bar admission in good standing
• Experienced in Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy law
