Job Details

Job Summary:
This firm's business growth has created a need to add a qualified and talented attorney. The focus of the role will be eDiscovery related litigation (i.e., motions to compel, motions to suppress, related motions, briefs). This role will also handle data privacy, cybersecurity and information governance matters as well.

Job Qualifications:
  •  Between 5 to 8 years' litigation experience with a law firm. Experience with an AM Law firm is highly preferrable.
  •  Experience in commercial litigation. Complex litigation experience is preferrable.
  •  Experience in drafting briefs, motions, and pleadings, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, witness interviews, drafting discovery requests
  •  JD from an accredited law school.
  •  Admission to the bar in a least one of the following jurisdictions: California, Illinois, Minnesota, Virginia, Washington D.C.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  •  Effective, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
  •  Exceptional presentation, organizational, and project management skills
  •  Experience working collaboratively in a team environment
  •  Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  •  Ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
  •  Ability to bill 1,740 hours per year (bonus eligibility after 1,860 hours)
  •  Experience with Relativity software helpful, not required
