Job Details

The Assistant Project Manager’s role is to assist with the planning, organization, and management of the day-to-day project operations, as well as any other responsibilities as directed by the Project Managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Billings
Email reminders to subcontractors for month G702/G703 Pay Applications on/before due date
Compile all subcontractors billing in appropriate folders for PM review
Compile and forward back up for all monthly invoicing

  • RFIs
Maintain RFI logs
Process and File RFIs through BIM360 as directed by the Project Manager
Process RFI responses
Submittals
Create and Maintain Submittal Logs
Follow up with Subcontractors and Vendors on Submittals
Compile, Review and Process submittals through BIM360
Ensure submittals follow specification requirements before processing
Process submittal responses to applicable subcontractors and vendors

  • Change Orders
Maintain Change Order Logs
File Change Orders
Send Subcontractor Change Orders for review and approval to PMs and Strategic Sourcing Manager

  • Meeting Minutes
Prepare accurate and concise meeting minutes
Distribute meeting minutes in a timely manner

  • Project Directory
Create and Maintain project directory with all project stakeholders and contact information

  • BIM360
Administrate BIM360 uploads and transmittals to relevant team members

  • Schedules
Maintain project schedules as directed by the Project Manager
Distribute schedules as directed by the Project Manager
  • General
Assist Project Manager with any/all administrative needs as they see fit
Schedule and Attend Project Meetings
Maintain File Structure per established processes
Follow all established procedures and processes as related to the Assistant Project Manager Position
Maintain all business relationships with outside firms and personnel in an effort to maintain relations for future work
Be a leader in safety, quality, improvement, and efficiency for Operations
Become well versed in the construction capabilities of the company
Adhere to all company policies, processes, procedures, rules and regulations at all times
Coordinate inspections, special inspections and customer inspections
Coordinate/ Compile project close out documentation
Communicate and coordinate with Strategic Sourcing
