We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work in the finance industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the Controller and other members of the finance team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, as well as assist with the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and provide support for external audits
• Provide guidance and training to staff on accounting policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or equivalent certification a plus
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
