Assistant Controller: Banking

As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting functions of the bank. You will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic finance team and contribute to the financial stability and growth of the bank

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements for financial institutions.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Experience with financial systems and software, preferably with banking software such as FIS or Fiserv.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
