Job Details

We are seeking a skilled associate, with a graduation year between 2017 and 2020, to join our Asset Management - Regulatory team in either Washington, DC, or New York. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in applying the Investment Advisers Act to private funds. While expertise in 40 Act status and exemption is advantageous, it is not mandatory for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act to provide strategic regulatory advice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant legal frameworks.
  • Analyze and interpret regulations affecting private funds and advise clients accordingly.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments to inform legal strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Bar admission in either DC or NY.
  • Classes of 2020 to 2017 with a focus on Asset Management - Regulatory.
