Assembly and Test Technician

A growing manufacturer within Aircraft and Aerospace

Jobot is partnering with a growing manufacturing company staff a position as an Assembly and Test Technician. Requires working with Engineering , Quality and Shipping/Receiving as required to accomplish assigned tasks. Assigned tasks include but are not limited to; assembly of aerospace components to printed work instructions; assisting with picking inventory items and documenting traceability; receiving inventory; preparation of
outgoing shipments and other tasks, as necessary.

The skills desired include:

• Use of hand tools and common shop equipment (such as a bench grinder, drill press and

arbor press).

• Soldering, electrical harness assembly, work order kit building, lot tracking, shipment

packaging, receiving inspection and order preparation.

• A basic understanding of DC electricity and hydraulic theory along with blueprint and

wiring diagram reading.

• Electrical and hydraulic assembly experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Needs to have the drive for accuracy in performing tasks with a “can do” mentality and

work well in a team environment.

• Familiarity with use of MRP systems, basic math and MS Office skills

If you have an Associates in Engineering or Manufacturing OR equivalent experience, 2+ years of working in an AS9100 and ISO9001 manufacturing environment with an A&P license preferred, possess excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills than this could be a wonderful opportunity for you.
