Are you an experienced Asphalt Superintendent who thrives on the thrill of seeing a project come to life from the ground up? If you have a passion for paving, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for managing teams, then this opportunity is for you! We are seeking a Permanent Asphalt Superintendent to oversee our construction projects. This role requires a dynamic individual who can oversee all phases of asphalt paving and grading projects, from initial planning to completion.

Responsibilities:
As an Asphalt Superintendent, you will direct and manage all on-site construction workers, subcontractors, and activities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising all phases of asphalt paving and grading projects, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
2. Overseeing the preparation of surfaces for paving, including grading and compacting.
3. Coordinating and supervising the application of asphalt for highways, streets, parking lots, driveways, and airport runways.
4. Managing the installation of curbs, concrete structures, and seal coating.
5. Ensuring that striping and marking tasks are completed accurately and on time.
6. Overseeing grade checking and maintaining slopes and grades as per project requirements.
7. Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, construction crews, and management.
8. Ensuring all safety regulations are followed and promoting a culture of safety within the team.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Asphalt Superintendent role, you should possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with paving, "ACS 740", parking lot, street, curb, and concrete works.
3. Proficiency in seal coating, striping, maintaining slopes and grades, grade checking, and grading.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
9. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites as needed.
