The firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager specializing in commercial tenant improvement projects. Our projects include commercial office, industrial/logistics, manufacturing, retail, medical and dental. Job Details

Project Management:

Lead, manage and oversee all aspects of the design process throughout all phases from initial design to the completion of construction.
Collaborate effectively with internal team members (which may include Technical Director and Production team) to achieve a successful project outcome.
Work closely and communicate the goals and objectives of each project with consultants, vendors and contractors.
Manage the entire project team to ensure that client specifications and expectations are fulfilled.
Help prepare project proposals, schedules, negotiate contracts and fees, coordinate bidding process.
Ensure projects are meeting key milestones and stay within budget.


Client Relations:

Cultivate long-term client relationships through exceptional service; providing clients with personalized attention, clear and excellent verbal and written communication, responsiveness and knowledge sharing.
Build partnerships with new clients and industry partners to grow client base.
Represent us in a professional manner – working with a variety of consultants, vendors, engineers, general contractors, landlords, property managers and property owners.
Leadership and Management:

Mentor and support growth of team members.
Contribute to recruitment of new talent for the office.
Continue with professional development (continuing education, attending seminars, stay up-to-date on codes and trends, licensing and certifications, participate in professional industry associations).
Maintain high professional standards at all times (communication, courtesy, service, appearance, business etiquette).
Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant Architectural or interior design experience
Strong leadership and business acumen, as well as the ability to manage people effectively
Has the proven ability to self-manage under pressure and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Must communicate clearly and effectively (both verbal and written)
Solid critical-thinking skills with the willingness and ability to make decisions
Technical, detail and constructability skills
Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and work well with a variety of staff
Demonstrate experience working on all phases of a project
Attain the firm’s goals relative to design, technical and management excellence
Required to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Able to work independently as well as interact with the team
Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD 22 or above, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Knowledgeable of 2022 CBC and Accessibility Code Compliance
Should be capable of completing a basic accessibility survey
Working knowledge of reviewing a full set of construction documents
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the profession
Architectural License or CID Certification preferred
Positive attitude, strong work ethic
Strong business development skills a plus
Be a U.S. citizen, or already possess a work visa for working in the U.S.
