Applications Engineer

As an applications engineer, your primary focus will involve providing specialized support to our sales and service teams within a market that oversees a 40.9 billion-dollar global supply of automated machinery. This market caters to consumer-packaged goods companies seeking to package their products immediately after production.

The ideal candidate for this role should be an engineer who demonstrates enthusiasm for dissecting technical challenges and resolving them through the analysis of historical data.

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Solidworks, AutoCAD, and legacy machine packages to examine the designs of parts and assemblies, offering support to customers.
Contribute to the development of solutions for technical issues with machinery in the field.
Collaborate with sales and technical teams to create AutoCAD layouts, aiding the Sales team in quoting new machines.
Engage in cross-functional teamwork with members from Engineering, Sales, and Service teams.
Execute tasks with meticulous attention to detail, including the creation of detailed prints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and documentation.

Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
2+ years of relevant work experience
High attention to detail
Willingness to learn
Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Customer service/ facing role experience preferred
