Application and Compliance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Application and Compliance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing operations and is designed for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You will be primarily responsible for managing and optimizing our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing the effective use of SCADA systems. Responsibilities:
1. Manage, optimize, and maintain the MES application to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity in manufacturing operations.
2. Oversee the implementation and use of SCADA systems, ensuring they are effectively integrated into our operations and meet the needs of the business.
3. Ensure all applications, systems, and processes comply with relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices.
4. Develop and implement robust compliance strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues related to system functionality, compliance, or performance.
6. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to ensure our systems and processes remain cutting-edge and compliant.
7. Lead training initiatives to ensure all staff are proficient in the use of our systems and are aware of compliance requirements.
8. Regularly review and analyze system performance, generating reports and making recommendations for improvements where necessary.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with MES application management and SCADA systems.
4. Strong knowledge of IT and compliance within the manufacturing industry.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
6. Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements within the manufacturing industry.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on business needs.
9. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
10. Proficiency in using various software applications and IT systems relevant to the role.
