Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all aspects of the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze and present data effectively, employing tools like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Work closely with attorneys to ensure accurate and timely billing for all client services.
- Handle B2B collections professionally and efficiently, maintaining positive relationships with our clients.
- Monitor and report on any discrepancies or issues within the accounts receivable function.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Implement and adhere to internal controls and procedures related to accounts receivable.
- Manage the eBilling process, ensuring all electronic invoices are sent and received promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Experience in B2B collections and account reconciliation.
- Prior experience working in a law firm or legal industry is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
