Job Details:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our dynamic team within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career within the finance department of a fast-paced, forward-thinking manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor communication.
• Approve new vendor requests, ensuring all necessary information and documentation is accurate and complete.
• Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Prepare and review expense reports, ensuring all expenses are within the company's policies and guidelines.
• Process ACH payments, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain vendor files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve and streamline accounts payable processes.
• Prepare and present reports on accounts payable status and activities to management.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
